I’ve found that by engaging in the process of psychotherapy, life begins to change. As we change, life changes. My trust in this process comes from my work with clients, as well as my own personal growth work. I love to support clients in their process of healing, and moving toward their full potential in life. I believe healing involves being authentic, and allowing all parts of ourself to be discovered, expressed and embraced. My approach to therapy is client based and mindfulness based. Meaning, we work with present moment awareness to discover, and integrate, all parts of yourself with kindness and self-compassion.

Working with mindfulness allows you to get curious and uncover some of the core beliefs and patterns that may be holding you back from your fullest potential in life. Through this work, you can access different parts of your self and bring into awareness how you’re organized in life, how you react consciously and unconsciously. This allows you to become more conscious, and change unconscious patterns. It also allows you to learn what your strengths and resources are in life, which are unique to each individual.

We generally don’t think of ourselves as already whole and complete, but dwell on things we dislike or are ‘wrong’ about us, or that aren’t going right. However we are not machines moving through life in need of repair, but organic living systems that can self heal. I believe we can grow through life’s challenges with peace and joy. Sometimes we just need an environment that allows our healing to happen.
